Fly Fishing
Destin has a lot of different places to throw a fly and there are several captains that know fly-fishing and understand the angler's needs.
Around the inlet at Destin's East Pass as well as the near coastal waters immediately adjacent to the inlet can provide a very wide variety of species from cobia, jack crevelle, redfish, tarpon, sharks, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, black fin tuna and bonitos.
The bay fishing boats typically carry the fly fisherman, though some cobia anglers fish off of bigger charter boats with towers.
